Large Closed Star Pastry Tip Ateco 847

The Ateco 847 is the tip that produces the tight-petaled rosette you see on top of bakery cupcakes. The closed star design creates distinct ridges in the piped buttercream without the points separating, which gives cleaner definition than an open star tip at the same size.

Use it for rosettes on cupcakes, shell borders around the base of a cake, and the classic swirl on choux pastry.

Stainless steel. Fits a standard piping bag with a coupler or directly into a large reusable bag.
